Plot
1. Mr.Bingley, Miss Bingley and Mr.Darcy attended a ball in Merylton. Mr.Darcy manifests smug condescension and proud distaste for the all of the country people. 2. Mr.Collins comes to visit the Bennets. 3. Mr.Bingley and Jane become fond of each other. 4. Elizabeth visits the Collins and meets Mr.Darcy there. She learns Mr.Bingley left Jane because Darcy insisted on it. 5. Mr.Bingley, a young gentleman from London, takes a country estate Netherfield near to the Bennets house. 6. Mr.Collins proposes to Charlotte. She accepts. 7. Since then Elizabeth contradicts and argues with Darcy each time they meet. Mr.Darcy begins to adore Elizabeth. 8. Mr.Collins proposes to Elizabeth. She refuses. 9. Mr.Darcy unwillingly offends Elizabeth uttering she is not pretty enough to tempt him. 10. Bingley and his company leave the countryside suddenly. He makes no attempts to contact Jane anymore. Jane is heartbroken and leaves for London. 11. Darcy writes a letter to explain himself, and Elizabeth is embarrassed to learn that she had been misled about Darcy's character. 12. Mr.Darcy proposes to Elizabeth. She accepts. 13. Elizabeth learns about Lydia's elopement with Mr.Wickham. The reputation of the entire Bennet family is endangered. 14. Lydia and Mr.Wickham are forced to marry properly. 15. Elizabeth travels country with her uncle and aunt. They visit Pemberly. 16. Darcy treats Elizabeth and her relatives with kindness and she begins hoping in their love and future. 17. The indignity of Lydia's shot-gun wedding is straightened out. 18. Mr.Darcy proposes to Elizabeth. She refuses. 19. Mr.Bingley proposes to Jane. She accepts.
